Catholic Charities
The social service agencies of the Archdiocese of Washington are committed to fulfilling the Church’s mission to serve the poor and vulnerable in our community by providing them with the highest quality care possible. Each year, Catholic Charities’ four member groups, Anchor Mental Health, Catholic Charities, Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Institute and the Spanish Catholic Center, provide over 120,000 children, adults and families with a wide range of services that include physical and mental health care, legal assistance, immigration, employment, early childhood services, education, counseling, adoption, emergency shelter, housing and more.
These agencies work together as partners within Catholic Charities while retaining their unique identities and missions. This partnership allows them to better leverage their resources and staff to provide more integrated and holistic care than ever before.
