Dear Website Visitor,
As we enter the new liturgical year I write to share my plans for the upcoming weeks/months in the Office of Consecrated Life.
The website pages for the Office of Consecrated Life are in the process of undergoing some changes. It is my plan to highlight in the coming year the gift of the Consecrated Life given by God the Father. In order to appreciate this gift the distinct types of Consecrated Life as revealed in the Church Documents will be offered. The following sections will also be added to the website:
- Vocation retreats/groups for those discerning a vocation to the Consecrated Life
- Retreat opportunities in Consecrated Life settings as well as those sponsored by the Archdiocese of Washington
- Ongoing formation
- Apostolate of Prayer
- Links to ecclesial documents on the Consecrated Life and to other pertinent resources.
It is my hope that the changes in the website will offer those of us who are consecrated as well as those striving to know their vocation a means to deepen our love for Christ and His Church.
