Methods of Giving to the Tuition Assitance Fund
Gifts of Cash
To make a gift of cash, checks should be made payable to the Tuition Assistance Fund and mailed to the Archdiocese of Washington at the address noted below.
Gifts of Securities
You can make a donation of stocks, bonds or mutual funds and take a charitable deduction for the current value of the security. By gifting appreciated securities, the donor avoids paying capital gains tax on the appreciation. To do so, consult with your financial advisor and then mail appropriate documentation to the Tuition Assistance Fund at the Archdiocese of Washington at the address noted below.
Endowments
Giving to or creating an endowment provides a lasting way of supporting one’s personal charitable interests. By investing in the educational endowment through the Tuition Assistance Fund, your gift will continue to support Catholic school students for generations to come. Donors interested in creating an endowment should contact Ms. Wendi M. Williams at (301) 853-5376 or via email at wwilliams@adw.org
