New Roman Missal
On November 27, 2011, the first Sunday of Advent, Roman Catholics in the United States began praying the Mass using a new translation of the third edition of the Roman Missal. While many of the prayers that have become so familiar to us have changed, the Mass itself remains the same.
Please continue to use this opportunity as a time of catechesis to learn more about our Liturgy. There are many resources, both old and new, that can help us as we strive to deepen our spiritual awareness and understanding of the Mass.
