Synod
On May 19, 2013 Cardinal Wuerl formally announced that a Synod of the Archdiocese of Washington will be convoked, with the final session meeting next year on the Solemnity of Pentecost on June 8, 2014. This providential moment will coincide with our celebration of the 75th anniversary of the formation of this archdiocese by Pope Pius XII on July 22, 1939.

Your Involvement
Parishes across the Archdiocese have conducted listening sessions to gather input from the faithful. If you were unable to attend a parish listening session you can still participate online. Your answers will remain anonymous and the entire session should take about 45-50 minutes to complete. The online forum will remain open until June 20, 2013.
