Young Adult Ministry
During Pope Benedict's April 19, 2008 address to young people at St. Joseph's Seminary in New York, he reminded us:
"It is from within the Church that you too will find the courage and support to walk the way of the Lord. Nourished by personal prayer, prompted by silence, shaped by the Church's liturgy you will discover the particular vocation God has for you. Embrace it with joy. You are Christ's disciples today."
The vision of the Office of Young Adult Ministry is to connect young adults to Jesus Christ, the Church, the mission of the Church in the world, and our peers.
Archdiocesan Ministries
The Office of Young Adult Ministry hosts many social, spiritual and service opportunities for young adults throughout the year, including the Annual Young Adult Mass and Reception, Theology on Tap, Christ in the City, Seven Church Walk, etc. Stay connected to the most up to date news and events for DC Young Adult at Facebook.com/DCYoungAdult and on Twitter @DCYoungAdult.
Parish Life

Many parishes in the Archdiocese of Washington host young adult communities to enrich the faith life of their young adult parishioners and to invite young adults to contribute to the larger parish community. Below is a list of active parish young adult communities. To contact the coordinator, click on the link.
